What notifications does x2VOL have?

Staff users are NOT emailed when students log hours.

Students are NOT emailed when a new opportunity is posted.

Notifications are not clickable.

Notifications are on an x2VOL users' Dashboard.

STUDENT NOTIFICATIONS:

Student notifications are seen on the tile on the right hand side of their Dashboard. Students will see see notifications on their dashboard when their activities have been approved, verified or denied. They will also see if a message (a comment) was entered on their activity by their supervisor.

Students do NOT see a notification that a new opportunity was posted on their notification section. Staff users can post on their bulletin board to notify as they see fit.

STAFF NOTIFICATIONS:

School staff will see notifications on their dashboard under the Announcements section. Notifications appear when students join x2VOL, join groups, log hours, when students sign up for opportunities and when students' hours are verified. Notifications also appear when actions are taken on opportunities or organizations by other staff members within the school.
